Title: Explorerwind helper
Post by: REDACTED on July 08, 2014, 09:17:41 PM
When I open Avast Pro, I get a message saying that I have an add-on called "Explorerwind Helper" and that I should remove it because it has a bad reputation. I've checked all my add-ons and I can't find it. Has anyone had this experience or does anyone know what Explorerwind Helper is?
Windows 7, Avast Pro, default browser is Google Chrome.

You have an IOBit program on your system?  IOBit stole intellectual property from Malwarebytes a while back:  https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/29681-iobit-steals-malwarebytes-intellectual-property/ (https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/29681-iobit-steals-malwarebytes-intellectual-property/)

Googling 'Explorerwnd Helper' gives no such file at IOBit:

Unfortunate but not unexpected.
