Title: insert license file

I hope someone can help me!

We received avast! Endpoint Protection Suite free for education.  I have yet to successfully download the thing completely, because I get all the way though restarting my computer and the whole nine yards... now I'm at Setup, and it has a blank where I'm to "Insert License File:".  I don't have any such thing; checked the original email that said we were approved; there is nothing like a license file anywhere.  I've gone back to the original email where it says "Download My License," and I get an error message:  "Unable to insert the license file.  The license is not valid for this product."  ???

I am very frustrated.  I am a teacher, not that tech-savvy, but I do not understand what is happening here and frankly don't have time to be messing with this!  I have tried to get help from customer support but they won't help me further because we did not pay for technical support; they directed me here.

HELP!!!

The phone support is NOT handled by avast but a third party.
Don't pay them, they are useless and only out after your money.

Do you have/had another av installed?
If so which one and how did you remove it?
