Title: <frame> tag found
Post by: Magic Speller on July 27, 2005, 04:54:58 AM
Hi, everyone.

I'm running Avast! Home 4.6. Tonight, suddenly I started getting popups that say:

Suspicious Message! <frame> tag found, it may be dangerous.

This is showing up for numerous old, old, mailing list message, most of them from known, frequent posters--including myself! (I'm using IMAP, if it matters.)

I assume this is referring to an HTML frame tag--correct? Can anyone tell me why suddenly these are being found, when they never were before?

Thanks in advance....

Yes, you're right. It's the HTML frame tag.
Maybe the fact you yourself are included in the posters, the avast! Heuristic email module detected it.
Check the Heuristic settngs into Internet Mail provider and/or Outlook pluggin of avast!  ;)
