Title: About the checkboxes in the exclude list
Post by: REDACTED on August 09, 2014, 06:30:36 PM
Did I understand it correctly(this was always bothering me)

When you add file or folder to the list, enabling a check box means to exclude that action and not enabling the check box means to execute the scanning.

For example if I add C:\New Folder\*
Checked check box on write, means that avast will not attempt to scan the files saved in that directory.
If a checkbox is not enabled on the other two options, will mean that avast will scan any file that is executed from that folder or something tries to read a file from that folder

Yes, you understand it correctly; checked means excluded, unchecked means scanned.
