Windows Debugger Proposed Cause: aswSnx.sys
Avast Product: Internet Security
Avast Internet Security Product Version: 2014.9.0.2021
Windows Version: Windows 8.1 Update 1 (64-bit)

I have uploaded the memory dump file to the Avast Anonymous FTP server, the file name is called "Tom9MEMORY.DMP".

What's going on here?

Did you install avast before or after upgrading to W8.1 ?

Is Windows defender disabled?
If not, do so.

Already tried a repair of avast?
If not, do so.

How do I do a repair of Avast?  Yes, Windows Defender has been disabled.

Repair avast!:
1. Control Panel -> Add/Remove programs -> avast!
2. Click on 'Repair'.
3. Follow instructions.
4. Reboot.
