Title: AIM and MSN Msgr YIM Integration

I have Avast 4.6 home. AIM 5.9.3797 MSN 7.0 and YIM 6,0,0,1788,yims.  Win XP SP2

I moved to avast after uninstalling McAfee Security Center and Virusscan.

neither IM suite picks up avast properly.

I can't seen how to tell AIM what exaclty to use to check for viruses with (there is a place to do so and it WILLlet me), but whcih .exe should i use?

MSN is like AIM

YIM refuses to allow me to even browse for a new virus checker.  It will not release mcafee at all, even if I force blank the line out and "apply".  YIM puts it BACK

Please help this poor newbie.

Hi, most of us use avast! ashQuck to scan incoming file transfer.

C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashQuick.exe

OK, that solves AIM and MSN.  Tks Muchly Help re YIM.  I cannto get the McAfee line OUT if the draned thing!

Yahoo IM Support suiggested uninstall and reinstall of YIM.  And that solved the problem
