Title: Avast out of date!

I am all of a sudden getting a report that my Avast may be out of date.  It is set up to automatically update virus defs.

Check your system date especially the year, correct if required and paste your registration key in again.

David.....good call!  Earlier today I punched up the XP calender to look at the month of August.  Forgot to put it back to July.  My PC thought it was August 29th!  Changing it back to the correct date fixed the issue!

That would do it, windows security centre thinking it is a month or more old.

Perhaps a small calender program rather than mess with the system time to check would be better.
