Title: How to uninstall Bloatware Grimefighter

I dont want Grimefighter.

Why does Avast distribute Bloatware????
I have paid for Avast and not for some shit.

How can I uninstall it or disable it.

Go to Control Panel > Programs > avast! antivirus > Remove. Then choose "Change" option.
Remove the checkbox option for GrimeFighter.
It's not that difficult and avast! allows full customization :)

Next time use a custom install and not default.

I uninstalled avast since this is becoming so much bloat. Hope there is a better antivirus alternative. Please help if you know one?

Why would you uninstall when you can pick and choose whatever you want installed from the "Tools" (Middle)column.
Follow the instuctions in Post #1
You can simply install the "SHields" and that's it!
