Hi Guys,
Through the avast pro UI I purchased another year license but it requires you to participate in auto renewal. They call it “ongoing protection service”. Other than calling my credit card company and stopping the payment how can I stop this auto renewal?
Thanks

you can disable on going protection service by going to this link and watching a very quick video. I was frustrated myself and since submitting a ticket seems to be a waste of time since no one ever contacts you. I like Avast...but thier customer service in non exsistent.

@indianrock88
Ongoing protection service and avast self-defense are two different things.
@RickB
Please do not disable avast self-defense.
Where are you required to participate in the Ongoing Protections Service? You can opt out of it while making a purchase. Please see attached.

I too am trying to opt out of the Ongoing Protection service.. i.e. automatic renewal. You mention that to opt out, I can only do so while making ANOTHER purchase... I don't want to do that.. I just want to STOP THE AUTOMATIC RENWAL. I looked everywhere in the program as well as in my account settings and it seems like an impossible task!
Help..! Thanks.

Go to : www.avast.com/en-us/find-order
look up order by order number/password sent to your email
or
look up order by email address and last 5 of credit card
manage the order and select to not auto renew.
