Hello!
Been using the beta for a while now and this error happens all the time.
When a virus is detected and I click on send to chest the following error occurs
Seek error on file `/home/......./.avast/
chest/000001` (large files not supported by stdio)
See attached screenshot.
After clicking on ok the scan continues to run.
Despite the error the infected file is sent to chest.
Operating system = Fedora core 4 x86_64
Also happens on Fedora core 4 (32 bit version)

Hi,
I've fixed the bug. The correct version is available at:
http://files.avast.com/files/linux/avast4workstation-1.0.0.tar.gz
http://files.avast.com/files/linux/avast4workstation-1.0.0-1.i586.rpm
-
Ill give it a try tomorrow. :)

I can confirm the send to chest error has been fixed :)
However I now have another problem.
I can only run avast as root. The error message for non root users is,
Cannot launch entry
Details: Failed to execute child process
"avastgui" (Permission denied)
-
The problem is in a script, that creates installation packages. Try to manually set permissions at lib/avast4workstation/bin/wrapper-script.sh file to 0755.

You can also try this version:
http://files.avast.com/files/linux/avast4workstation-1.0.1.tar.gz
http://files.avast.com/files/linux/avast4workstation-1.0.1-1.i586.rpm
-
Ahoy!
I will try the above and report back soon.
