Title: My avast is not updating.

This problem has developed in the evening, my avast is not updating, I'm getting the following errors.

Connection terminated, retrying some URL.

do you get stream updates?

I don't know anything about stream updates. But I'll let you know if I encounter this problem again, presently it seems to be resolved.

Open up the Avast GUI. At the left hand panel click on the screw icon. At the left hand panel click on update. Under the "Virus definitions" tab click on settings that shows a down arrow. Click on that arrow and make sure there is a tick button for Enable streaming updates.

The cause of this error message can be caused by avast servers or a connection problem on your network? Turn off your internet modem and turn back on.

Did you turn a repair of avast via add/remove?
