Title: Securing wireless network
Post by: essexboy on September 23, 2014, 10:56:59 PM
The is a possible problem within the network scanner
When I scanned mine it gave a warning about the password, the problem with this is it is my access password to my ISP and if I change it I will not be able to get online. It is allocated and controlled by the ISP

Maybe there should be a warning about this

I have the same situation. My password is 10 digits long and the problem that I see is that is all numerals. I can't change it.
The behavior I mentioned has changed. It no longer shows my password as being a problem. There should be an example of what is considered a secure password.

"Anybody in range can connect to your WiFi to use the bandwidth and access your other devices......"
This can only happen if the person in range wants to take the time and can crack a 10 digit password.
