Title: Firewall confusion

I have Avast internet security 2015.10.0.2201 katest beta 3 installed. I am using windows 7 home premium 64bit.

Does windows firewall still has to be enabled even though AIS has firewall? Windows security center recommends turning off windows firewall, so I am kinda confused... Plus, my wireless router has firewall enabled. I have connected my computer straight to the http://www.genexis.eu/products/drg700-residential-gateway (http://www.genexis.eu/products/drg700-residential-gateway) home gateway.

No, only one good firewall is enough.
A software firewall is not good.
Get a good hardware firewall.
