Title: Avast updated virus while internet was out
Post by: REDACTED on October 12, 2014, 05:21:03 PM
I would like to know why the AVAST popup would come up and tell me that my virus definitions were updated when I wasn't connected to the internet?
Makes me wonder if it is really updating or if it is bogus? I would think the popup would warn me that the database could not be updated because there was no internet connection.

This happened 2 times, each morning as I started my computer, I had the same popup. My ISP had to repair the cable over 2 days because it was vandalized and the damage was extensive.
