Title: theBat! plugin
Post by: Rod on October 25, 2003, 07:46:43 PM
Installed plugin, and added to virus options in theBat!. Changed transport properties back to normal, instead of 127.0.0.1. I do not see the icon for Avast scanning in the tray. I only see the icon when using 127.0.0.1 for incoming and outgoing mail. Is Avast scanning mail if I don't see the icon? I don't think so.

Well, in my case it is doing its job. I get no notification whatsoever the avast plugin is doing its work, but it found and quarantined two messages with the eicar etst virus. That was shown in the logfile btw.

I dont know if it is possible, but some signal the plugin is doing its work would be nice. But I think that depends on how The Bat! handles plugins...
