Title: Avast as a disk resource hog
Post by: Lisandro on October 14, 2014, 07:53:42 PM
I'm experiencing deep performance hicups and seems the issue is on Avast NG.
See pictures. How to troubleshoot.
I'll upgrade to RC2, but... really, what is happening?

FYI, NG vanishes into thin air when upgrading to RC2.

But "Virtualbox" appear in the "About" dialog... Something virtual is there :)

NG will only work on SSD's.

I don't know what that will mean in terms of protection since NG was supposed to succeed DeepScreen since it was limited to a certain extent.

Where did you get this information?

Edit: Nevermind. I see it now.
