Title: Grimefighter will not work

I purchased Avast solely because it claimed Grimefighter could make my computer run faster.  I am running Windows 7.  When I run Grimefighter (overnight), it goes through the entire process, then tells me it address my Boot Time, Responsiveness, or Disk Space issues.  It tells me it has contacted technical support to resolve the problem.  I have not heard from Tech Support.  I still try the Grimefighter, and weeks later, it still doesn't work.  What's even more frustrating, it turns on things in startup that I turned off.  I have run the virus scan.  No viruses.  Again, the sole reason I purchased Avast! was for Grimefighter.  HELP!

Hi and welcome.
Unfortunately, there has not been a lot of response/Resolution to this issue.
If no support comes from Avast member here in your Topic you can Contact Avast  and request technical support for your issue OR YOU can request a "Refund".
IN either case, this process can take some time ( in some cases weeks)
