What is the difference between home and pro editions?

but home and pro still scan for the same vrius is that correct??

Yes exactly, otherwise, there would be no purpose of installing Home Edition and I don't think anyone would ever install such a thing. Pro version just gives you more options and some extra ways of configuring your settings and program behavior.
