Hello,

This is emergency issue.

Avast! securelineVPN is not working with error “ secureline has encountered a technical issue.”

How to resolve this issue?(http://)

Try one of the other VPN's.

There have been numerous others with this error message'
Unfortunately, there is next to No Technical support in this Sub Forum for SECURELINE.
As mentioned there are other VPN services, it's a good idea to have more then one VPN installed and useable.
Secureline has not been as reliable as it needs to be!

Hi,

We had an issue in our server cluster that caused the service to not be available.  It has been fixed and all users should be able to connect now.

Sorry for the inconvenience and delay in updating you on this issue.

My free version of Avast showed this error on startup today and had never seen it before either. Being as I use the free version there is nothing for me to do, since it is a paid service correct?

Yes that is correct.
There is a subscription Fee and  can be subscribed too, monthly or yearly for example. :)

I keep getting the message that I am not registered even though I have been trying for months, just have to keep downloading every 30 days.

ps I did get registered over a year ago but can not get access to the registry page anymore???

Avast  Free version now up to 2015.10.0.2208

I delete every time and also use Avastclear.exe to make sure it is gone and each install give me the same problem...  not able to register...

My confusion as this being the Secureline sub forum I wasn't sure what was being referred too.

OK, followed post# 10 and all I see is "loading " as usual but now it times out and just disappears...???

If you experience any issues with on-line registration, use the off-line registration.

How do I get my Money back???? I bought it yesterday and want rid.

This is a very unreliable product, nearly caused me to have to rebuild my PC as it crashed Avast and would not let me back into my system. Had to go into safe mode and remove AVAST with avastclear.exe (after searching Google on another PC) Then reload AVST

Even then it still looped around with a system dialogue box (switch, retry, cancel)

Eventually connected once but now wont connect and says it has a technical issue and that it expired -16502 days ago (I only bought it yesterday)

I am angry and frustrated and want my money back.

Help...I bought VPN but everytime I open it, this message "secureline has encountered a technical issue" appeared.. what's wrong? I'm in china right now and need to connect on some website ..

Hi j2errick,

The great firewall in China is most likely responsible for blocking the connection.  Unfortunately, there isn't much we can do about that.  It may be necessary to request a refund then.

There is a license that costs $2.99/month, it won't prompt you to buy the license, so when you have Avast open, you can go to the privacy tab and click the VPN and it will prompt you to buy the license which will open your web browser to download the license.

After installation of the license, you can go back to the privacy>secureline VPN and click the "Go Private" button, may take a couple times for it to establish a proper connection.
