I am a new Avast user and trying it out. I was just posting something in Facebook and got a voice saying "THREAT DETECTED"...should I do anything or was it blocked? It kept repeating it 4 times so I logged out. Can anyone tell me what this means to me and my computer? Was that malware. spyware a virus? I have tried several security software and my computer is less than a year old. I run a windows 8.1 and have so many problems with it. I tried to see if the threat detection was listed on the Avast Program wall but saw nothing. After it said "THREAT DETECTED" the box went away to fast for me to click on it to investigate further. PLEASE HELP!

You might have malware on your computer. Follow the steps as shown from here https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=53253.0 and a malware expert will assist you.
