Seems I'm not the only one..
After a hardware failure (motherbord RIP....) I've tried to restart my PC, and cannot boot... either BSOD of black screen with mouse cursor only.
In safe mode, I can see boot stucks at aswRvrt.sys, what drove me here....
I could enter repair mode and run FRST 64 scan, but I don't understand what to do with...
(note btw some changes in hardware since last boot, mb and CPU)
can someone help here ?
Thanks
Sylvanoe

If the motherboard you replaced it with is a more modern version then you will have to reinstall windows as the chipset and BIOS will be different to what windows expects
If the motherboard was changed I would go for a clean install

Would have liked to avoid this, but.....
as the upgrade was not intentionnal, did not clean backup everything before....
Thanks
