Title: avast proxy

I deleted my free avast software some time ago.  This is on OS X Mavericks.

However, I now see that (thanks to Little Snitch) there is a working avast proxy server on my imac.

I need to get rid of this.
How can I do this?

Seems like you didn't use the uninstall function available from the Avast! menu, the easiest way would be to reinstall and use the uninstall function to delete everything.

 if you deleted Avast program, the whole product should be completely automatically uninstalled. If you haven't rebooted yet, could you please generate a support package and submit it to us? The easiest way would be to contact our support for assistance in this case.
