Whilst that CPU of yours appears excessive - mine is much lower hovering around 20-25%. My system is relatively old, see system specs in my signature, so it isn't as if my system is a speed freak.

In all honesty I find the information available on the Statistics panel to be a waste of time visiting the Statistics Panel.

I'm only seeing it run 1% here...  With my setup that could be as much as 25% of one logical processor.  What kind of CPU(s) do you have?

My system is ridiculous: core duo T5600 1,8 GH, 2.0 GB of RAM, W 7, NVIDIA GE FORGE GO7300.
Incredible power! ;D

Yes, that will hit your CPU as that real time data display is pretty processor intensive.

Other than show high CPU % readings on the Task Manager is it impacting on your computer use ?
I suspect not, as the only thing you would really be doing is checking the stats as you shouldn't really be opening it and leaving it open.

For me the information given isn't detailed enough to make it worthwhile and I don't bother using it - the only exceptions are when questions are raised about it in the forums, then I take a peek. That doesn't impact on what I'm doing on the system (browsing and responding in the forums) at the time I have it open.
