Title: automatic updates error

I get a bubble reminding me updates are available.  I go to avast and 'adobe reader' shows due.  I click on then....error.
What is to be done? >:(

go to adobe website and download update

Some time ago it was more common for the Avast-coordinated update to fail.  Thankfully that's getting better.  Do what Pondus has suggested this time, but don't give up on trying to have Avast manage the update in the future.  It often works!
