Hello!

Is the post about the 5.3 version of my.avast there is the following description:

--> Avast Remote Control update (currently only in Account section of Avast 2015)

What is "Avast Remote Control update" ? Is it related to the commands you can submit to your phone (track it, lock it, etc)? Or is this to perform a remote version update on an avast installation?

No, if you have a Premium Avast installed on your PC, you can remotely connect to it from Account section of another of your devices.
