Well, I believe they well deserved it... no one would give such a huge amount of money if they didn't think GriSoft is good enough.
Of course, their AVG's GUI looks really ugly, but with a touch of a good graphic designer they can make a hell of a good application. Right now, it doesn't look professional, and in the same time it doesn't even look "gamey"... it looks like those old applications from Windows 3.11 which is just a drawback in my humble opinion...

Hope Alwil have such a money support to get even better...
Software marketing is being more and more concentrated and it's very hard to survive. The big companies are just sweeping the small ones. Only very good ones will stand 8)

But avast motto is we shall fight them all, avast will not kneel, no one will make avast submit, its beating nortons, why some of them are being taken is because they don't have loyal fans.
Avg saids it all promises all then don't perform.
AVAST LIVE FOREVER, avast sell out whoever buys it would ruin it.

Of course you can... I don't see any reason why you couldn't use it somewhere else... just when asked who made it, send them here, and we will turn them into avast! users, haha ! We will assimilate them ;D ;D ;D

Have now put my avast logo that sasha made on 10 other web forums and those that dont except i have asked them why, awaiting there answer, after all avast is the best there is.

Posted on one forum about could not put the avast avator in, the person who runs it told me to send it to her, within 2 mins it is in there, she asked me do i work for avast i told her no, but best antivirus around she is now changing when she can, from norton to avast. so well done, also well done i now have a moving desktop very inpressive.

Yes!It's really very nice.Wish I could put it on the other forums,but my nick is different in every forum.But it's designed mainly for avast! forums so...this is where it belongs :)

Thanks again sasha i have with your help been asked and i have excepted a mods job on a small forum called fixmyxp.com because he likes the avast logo.
He is going to help bring people over to avast, when they come on with troubles.

To me, it doesn't really matter how ugly it looks, as long as they get the job done. :) Don't judge a book by it's cover. ;D But still,AVG with some neat skins could be entertaining. ;D

Yes!They should hire Sasha making skins for avg and he will put links to avast! everywhere(something likeVirus found!Avg can't remove the virus-why don't you try with avast! boot time scan
