Post by: REDACTED on December 27, 2014, 12:57:29 AM
Hey, for some reason I keep getting this message every time I try and open a webpage. "Avast! Web Shield has blocked access to this page because one of the issuers of the following certificate has expired:*[website address]"

If avast is really blocking every website...
How did you manage to join this webboard? ???

Did you import the avast certificate into Windows?
If not, do so and see if it solves the problem.

Are the websites "http" or "https"?
If they are https disable the https scanning...GUI>Settings>Active Protection>Web Shield (Customize)>untick the box.

My problem was I had reset the BIOS and hadn't then updated the date and time, so Avast thought it was 1980.
Easy fix!
