Title: Uninstall question
Post by: REDACTED on December 29, 2014, 11:33:47 PM
I got a confirmation that my ticket had been sent on for refund, how can I uninstall Grimefighter?  It is still sitting on my system, I just want it gone. There is a directory on my boot drive called jumpshot with some of the Grimefighter files, but no uninstall option.

Hallelujah Eddy...
Took me some hours to find your answer in regards to uninstalling of Grimefighter, but this has done the trick!
Now relaxing and waiting for the refund... (yes, I have logged a Ticket... ;) )
Thanks so much
B

Ok, another happy customer on my huge list ;D
Have patience and do not create a new ticket or change the existing one.
If you do, you will be put back to the bottom of the stack and you will have to wait longer.
If you haven't heard from avast let's say in the next 3 weeks, post your ticket number here and I (or someone else) will try to get attention from avast for it.

Grime fighter has hijacked my computer.  I can't even get to my control panel to delete it.. Avast has been no help and wants to charge me 179.00 to fix a problem they created.  I am typing on my iPad so I can send this and possibly see if I can get some help.  I am seriously frustrated and feel betrayed by a company that I trusted.

"Same problem"...

Grime fighter was successfully uninstalled, but still there.
Avast was successfully uninstalled, still there.
MBR rebuild and fixed, still there.
If I boot into Grime fighter it loads and kill himself.....

Edit:
finally got it!
