Title: Really Annoyed. Please help

I've spent an hour trying to log in, and even tried logging in through facebook. "We could not connect your device to Avast Accout, Please try again later.  I've spent all day trying to find a decent Free anti-virus software. My email for the registration is and I keep getting my password right.Please do help.

1) Remove your email from your post unless you enjoy getting spam.
2) What do you see in your account in the GUI?
3) Try logging in via the website my(dot)avast(dot)com

And I am logged in. It keeps telling me to link the device and re download what's already been downloaded
