Title: Sleep awake
Post by: REDACTED on January 06, 2015, 02:30:16 PM
i did have issue with my pc few days a go my screen went smaller and i could see a large windows sign but nothing else and i couldnt  use mouse or keyboard i did have  strong indication someone was in my pc-system,the reason is the screen lock [from full screen went half screen only could see the windows 7 letter non else could be done] i did call avast where that [pro] guy respond he dint want me to tell him my details  he wanted me to get  to my avast to tell him a number ? anyway we spend 15 minutes to explain him i cannot enter the pc due to the screen lock he did understand ,....finally i made my pc start on safe mode and that [Mr avast en and pro tech]made it to remote log to my pc well the guy dint do anything he check my windows log result was=bios corruption offer me to get 250$ 1 year plan to service my pc and  he mention me to dont blame avast... Well  hello?  listen my isp been hijacked since then and 206 gig been used by the hack in my pc i just had finish explain to my isp provider that i havent use the pc this month now i did try reinstall avast im getting warning from 'glasswire' that avast version has been modified on the restart basic from 10.0.2208.712 to 10.0.2208.719?this application is very accurate as it does tell me on the spot my isp dns changed,,and avast is still on the 10th dream [doesnt] provide a dns change warning at all,now the reason i write all those
if the 24/7 tech support was less careless and look in to the matter deeper i could prevent intrusion to my system?>correct
that person try to sell me 1 year repair services and been careless about the real issue i call?>>TRUE

sweet dreams

George

You seem to be from Australia but your written English is quite poor, would you rather try in the foreign languages board  https://forum.avast.com/index.php?board=21.0

I gathered you called avast third party support ( not Avast ) but the rest makes little sense.

The alert from Glasswire was for an update (version change) not a DNS change.

Just blur your eyes and free your mind... it makes sense.  OP is ticked off that Avast didn't help them when they called
Avast's support
(why you people keep saying it's not Avast I have no clue... Avast is well aware who they are and what they are doing and they are representing Avast) and

Avast's support tried to rip them off as usual instead of looking deeper into the problem and actually doing anything.

as i mention the Avast support dint do the job and i support that with my isp confirming to me my net has a double session on,   as for you [CRAIG,B] you don't have to be a racist if you dint like my English is a more nice way to say it and yes i am a wog live to Australia what is your problem? instead take this [careless Avast customer support] more serious you are just be a [RACIST],towards me for been an Australian with poor English,

Hi bob yes indeed the Glasswire alarm me as you say  but what i mean in that is the 'freeware' alarm me but the pay product 'Avast doesn't',

Bob3160  you  my friend did the best answer you clearly understand me THANK you

Mr Bob is not really enough  yo go do that i have x2 desktops destroyed in 2 days and my isp hijacked because the 24/7 technical support denied that in my PC was  any harm application/virus/or malware as he only checked the windows report for the last 15 minutes which easily a hacker can modify to look like [bios corruption] well as my 1st desktop  blow up, and i replace it with my second desktop in 1 day it was off as well then i found the viruses and isp hijacks [15 years of PC use first time i see my screen lock like that i knew was someone in 100%]
for been careless in a job like that doesn't really apply to top standards security providers  must supply to the customer, i will place my Avast license in here to anyone would like to take it i cant really have that CRAIG,B harassing me for my poor English, and i cant really like RACIST persons, to Aussie we got 100 nationalities for me everyone is the same i wonder for Craig,b what could be,no really hard to guess...

@Grekopitbull you have totally confused what I had said, nothing racist was stated anyware ??? I just noted that your written English was hard to understand and you might prefer to communicate in your own language in the foreign language board.

And by the way, I am an Aussie :)
