Title: OPOS
Post by: REDACTED on January 22, 2015, 04:38:23 PM
We have just updated to the lasted version and since then it looks like AVAST is locking down the USB ports in some way to prevent running malware off USB keys. It could also be that the new version has modified the registry or removing the OPOS entries because AVAST does not recognize them. It could also be that AVAST doesn't recognize the AIP* processes/services and these are being  blocked

Could any of the above be possible with the latest version of Anti Virus?

First try a repair, if that doesn't fix things perform a clean installation of the latest version.
