Title: Firefox extension 10.1.0.170 does not install on Firefox 35

I keep getting hounded to install the extension 10.1.0.170 on my Firefox 35 installed on My Mac. Turns out this extension is for Windows only. The extension does not check for OS compatibility as other extensions do. This has caused me time and work lost as the browser flips off the page I am typing on to ask me to upgrade the extension. This can happen 30 times a day. Support knows and I will not disable updates as that is a security concern..  I also test extensions and need compatibility checking disabled. So if you have this problem, all you can do is wait for a fix.
