I just installed Avast Free 2015.10.0.2209 Beta and have run into a problem. I have added items to the file exclusion list and Avast continues to check them and flag them as viruses. Is their something I can do to solve this issue? The previous stable version worked fine. Thanks.

Exactly where did you add these exclusions ?
Can you post the full text of what you entered in the exclusions ?
Have you submitted these files to the avast virus labs if you feel they are a false positive ?

Thank you for the suggestions. It turns out that after rebooting the computer, the exclusion list is now recognized. Thanks again.

Hi, I am trying to verify whether this issue still persists in the latest version of Avast but I've been unable to reproduce it.
It would be of great help if I knew which edition of Avast you're using (Free/Pro/...) and which version of Windows.
Thanks a lot.
