I ran a boot scan per the Avast free version yesterday, it took almost 8 hours to complete and when it was done I can no longer access IE or chrome, and avast itself says I am not connected to the internet even though my signal is good. Can someone assist?

why did you run a boot scan?
was anything detected and removed?....if so, what. you may post a screenshot

It recommended a boot scan on initial installation. It did find several viruses. Where is the best place to get a screenshot of the scan log?

i guess what was detected was moved to chest? .... take screenshot of chest
you may need to open the coulmn so we can see full file path to what was detected

I saved screenshots of the opened columns, how do I put the pic in the post? It won't let me copy and paste. When I hit "insert image" on the toolbar I just get "(http://)" in the post.
