Title: Windows 7 firewall still running

I just upgraded to avast! Internet Security. Shouldn't the Windows 7 firewall not be running?

It is your own choice to keep it running or not.

Hello luckyvic. I heard from this forum that Windows 7 firewall works ok with Avast Firewall. One other thing, according to your signatures I see your avast version is 7.0.1456. This is an outdated avast version. Upgrade to the latest version.

Actually, since avast! 8 or 9 (not sure) it's recommended to disable Windows Firewall.

Mines actually disabled itself.

I went ahead and disabled the Windows Firewall for now.
