Title: Good program or potential threat
Post by: robert.bev@tiscali.co.uk on April 13, 2015, 02:27:55 PM
Hi all, Every day at 12 noon my SlimDrivers V2.2 program checks for updates, and every day at 12 noon my Avast says that a threat has been detected, how can I tell Avast that this program is scanning for program updates, or is SlimDrivers a virus carrying program.
Regards Robert.

- If you don't have problems with your system there is no need to check for newer drivers.
- Windows update is already providing new drivers for many devices.
- Checking for new drivers each day is really madness.

If you still want to use that tool, you can add it to the exclusion list.

Hello,
send the detected file through http://support.avast.com/ -> Avast Virus Lab as "False positive", please.

Hi all, Every day at 12 noon my SlimDrivers V2.2 explosion protection support  (http://www.grupa-wolff.com/explosion-safety/explosion-protection/)checks for updates, and every day at 12 noon my Avast says that a threat has been detected, how can I tell Avast that this program is scanning for program updates, or is SlimDrivers a virus carrying program.
Regards Robert.

the same problem, but fortunately now works fine
