I have downloaded the most updated avast program twice in the past few days and every time I scan my drives the window pops up and says you have 35 or watever infected files but every time I try sending them to the chest it wont let me, another window pops up and says "Initialization of Chest files
Action was completed with errors!"
"Program cannot use Chest client: (null)
--->Description: Virus chest server is not running. RPC communication failed."
If someone could help me out with that, or has any tips that would kick ass. Thanks

Can you try to repair avast! ?
Add/Remove programs -> avast! antivirus -> Repair ( you need internet connection for this )

KJEA, welcome, if that does not work, can you try uninstall and install again.
Do you remember which kind of files are those 35 ones?
Are you using any other antivirus in your system?
Is your computer clean? Did you run a boot time scanning?

I tried repairing avast and that was a go, it said it was updated sucessfully but still the same error pops up and I went through my computer and removed all other virus programs and still the same thing, I havent tried a boot time scan yet and I wasn't sure if you meant spyware/adware removers had to go either so I haven't canned them yet and yeah my comp is infected already. Thanks again for the help and if you have any other suggestions please let me know.

Are you saying that you have more than one antivirus at a time in your computer?
