New version out today... where are the links?
-
Same here :o
-
Presumably a beta refresh so it should be available through the UI, if not the usual beta download link would probably contain the latest 2218 version.

Just downloaded the free version from that Prior beta and got the latest version 10.2.2218.942.
-
It doesn't say anything about Beta and Im not setup to receive Beta alerts... it says new version available... looking for the full install download link if it's accurate
-
The UI on my Win 7 rig shows the update available. I have my update feature set to manual, and will wait to see what gremlins might at play with this release before allowing the install.

None of the beta's have stated they are beta builds; that is a problem as those who have participated in the beta testing (don't know if you have at any time) will get offered it.
-
I have never downloaded from a beta, used a beta, installed a beta, participated in a beta. I always download the full install link from outside the beta forum. I have never seen a message saying a new version is available unless there was an actual new version available so evidently someone is broadcasting the wrong version or put a beta out on the production server.

Than this is the new stable release :)

Confirmed, I have just got it on my win7 netbook, which has never been on the beta testing.
-
I'm on the release channel and just received it through the UI ... all seems good.

:o My Avast IS just showed there is an update-- but it's not .2218 is says 2015.10.2.2217. I downloaded the .2215 while it was still beta. Am I missing something here?

Check again : Avast! - Settings - Update - Program Update.

Guys,
It takes some time before all update servers are offering a new release.
That could also be a reason why it is not posted yet here on the forum

Grr, the problem I've reported and that was in all 2015 version still hasn't been solved.
This 2015.10.2.2218 version is slowing down my system even more than any other 2015 version. >:(
-
Now running v2015.2.2218 8)
Updated through GUI>Settings>Update
-
I'll wait for full installer link.
I don't want to install Skype or something if I update through the GUI.

The full installer will most likely offer you the Skype install, the update through the GUI definitely not :)

Hi,
yes it's stable version:

Skype is disabled for now, so don't worry ;-)
It won't be offered during update, just fresh installations, when some conditions are met.
-
And which conditions are these? :)

I wonder if those with Win8.1 will not see the Skype opt-out since Win8.1 comes with Skype pre-installed? ???
Unless they have uninstalled Skype after setting up their system.
edit: I hope the Skype option will be "opt-in" and not the freaking opt-out.
Opt-outs are the best reason for Unchecky (http://unchecky.com/).

I was offered skype during a reinstall of avast with my 8.1 system so no, its still being offered.
