Title: Export virus logs to Google Spreadsheet
Post by: REDACTED on April 24, 2015, 03:31:32 AM
Hi, I was wondering if it was possible to upload the results of Avast! scans to a Google Docs spreadsheet, or even have it simply spit out a CSV file of the results to a specific location once the scan is complete. Thanks!

The log files are plain text files, you can do whatever you like with them.

I havnt used Avast much, so bear with me....
Does it create a new text file each time a scan has run? or just adds to the existing?
And im assuming it must be a text file, and it cant be a CSV or something like that?

If a scan creates a new log or append the result to a existing one depends on your settings.

c:\programdata\avast software\avast\report

Then you will see how avast saves logs. Depending on how long you save the logs.
I have mine set for 60 days.
