Title: Google revocation list?
Post by: wizzlbang on April 24, 2015, 05:24:47 AM
Sorry, I don't know where else to post this
I noticed a lot of OCSP sites connecting to my machine today, just a little while ago the url https://pki.google.com/GIAG2.crl popped up in my webshield. I wasn't using a google browser or connecting to any google websites, so I got curious and looked into what that was

apparently, it's google's internet authority Certificate Revocation List? Why would my comp connect to that? Did a digital signature get revoked from me? for what reason?

What browser you use doesn't matter.
It just checks if a certificate used by a website is valid or not.
