Hi, I'm on version 4.6.691 of Avast, and just recently, when trying to check emails with OE6, I get timed out and don't receive the emails? I have increased the time in OE6 to 5 mins and Avast not to have any limit, but, it still happens ;-(
If I disable internet mail in Avast, then there's no problem, but that then leaves me open to virus's, so no good.
Any help in solving this problem very much appreciated.

What other security (related) software do you have installed?
What have you changed just before it stopped working?

** None except for Avast updating.

Yep, did all of that, and none of them have the solutions.

Try a repair of Avast.
