Title: Exclusions path name
Post by: REDACTED on May 28, 2015, 01:34:21 PM
I'm trying to add an exclusion to the hardened mode, with a path like %userprofile%\Desktop\program.exe, but avast doesn't allow it.

Is there a way to implement something like that?

Hi,

I'm not sure if this will work with hardened mode for sure. I'm checking on it and will post back when I have more info.

Thanks!

Jeff

This feature is a must.

We have proprietary software that must be installed in "%userprofile%\sps". I've submitted the files to avast! as false positives numerous times, but heuristics are still flagging.

That is exactly my problem too. Proprietary software, unknown to avast and other antiviruses is being blocked and I need to implement a general rule to hardened mode's exclusions path.
