Title: Receiving a .dll error msg when I boot my pc
Post by: REDACTED on May 29, 2015, 10:24:58 AM
Hello Avast forum.

It's my first time here. I'm glad to contribute to your community as I am enjoying a single licence of avast for quite a while now.

Here is my question:

When I start my pc (xp v 7) I get an error msg that says comes from avast.

Here attached the screen capture:

what should I do to fix the prob?

Tks a lot for your help.

Daniel.

Perform a clean installation of the latest avast version and the problem should be solved.

First try a repair of avast:
XP - Add Remove programs, select 'avast! Anti-Virus,' click the Change/Remove button and select Repair, click next and follow.

Vista, win7 or later - Control Panel, Programs & Features, uninstall a program, select 'avast! Anti-Virus,' click the Uninstall/Change and select Repair, click next and follow.

Reboot after the repair.

If that fails then use the clean reinstall option as mentioned.
