Title: My Avast for Mac is v10.12, why not at least 10.14?
Post by: FallingRock on June 05, 2015, 12:59:28 AM
I see that Mr. Levin has Avast v10.14;  my Avast just updated after I opened it from the Dock of OS X Lion v10.7.5 (Build 11G63), it shows in the nice-looking popup from the menubar item for Avast Program Info, the following text in the blue background with white alphanums:
Avast Mac Security 2015
Vires definitions:    15060401
Program version:   10.12 (44207)

Question for the experts:   If Mr. Levin was updated to v10.14 (44414)  prior to or On the date of May 26, why is mine updated, today in June, with a lesser version, namely, v10.12 (44207) ??

Hi,
We do not always automatically deploy the latest version to all clients, but sometimes, like in this
case, we use fractions so not all the clients get the newest version at the same time. However, if
you want to get the newest version, you can update to it manually from the program settings.
