Title: warning popups everytime I connect to the web - from System32\svchost.exe
Post by: REDACTED on July 04, 2015, 11:49:21 AM
Hi there,
Hoping someone can help me - every time I connect to the web, I get around 4 messages, from websites like http://alwaysisobar.com/
I haven't even gone to a browser yet - although from research it did say chrome may be the issue so I removed it - still have issues.

I have done a malware test and removed what ever came up - still have issues.

There don't appear to be any other issues with the computer  - Is this a virus - and why doesn't Avast do something about it - from his forum it looks like heaps of people are having the issue.

I have followed the instructions at the "Logs to assist" topic, and attached the files indicated.

thanks
roima

Let me know if this stops it

CAUTION :  This fix is only valid for this specific machine, using it on another may break your computer

Open notepad and copy/paste the text in the quotebox below into it:

Quote
CreateRestorePoint:
EmptyTemp:
CMD: bitsadmin /reset /allusers

Save this as fixlist.txt, in the same location as FRST.exe
(https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/73555776/FRSTfix.JPG)
Run FRST and press Fix
On completion a log will be generated please post that
