Title: After Windows 10 upgrade, Online content unavailable
Post by: Hornet62 on August 02, 2015, 04:39:25 AM
After upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10, Several places in Avast! Internet Security give me the error message that the online content is unavailable.  I have checked my connection to the internet and found absolutely no problems.  I can connect with several other applications.  Can someone help with this problem?

Be sure that AvastUI.exe is allowed in your firewall.

Yeah,

I tried that, it doesn't work. Furthermore, I downgraded to Avast Free.  The issue is with the Avast software.

Avast free running without problems on this Windows 10 system.

You may need to uninstall avast using the avast removal tool, then reinstall a fresh copy after upgrading to windows 10, if you're having problems. Doing this should (hopefully) eliminate the issues you're experiencing.

You can find the Avast removal tool at the following link: https://www.avast.com/en-us/uninstall-utility (https://www.avast.com/en-us/uninstall-utility)

I hope this is helpful to you.
