Title: build 4.6.731 to reboot after every start

just had an automatic update to 4.6.731, and after download asked to reboot system, clicked yes, it did restart, then same message to restart. this happens evry time the system is turned on. Can anyone help or have you experienced this problem

hi and welcome ,
you must have got a bad install/update. I would suggest you deny the reboot then try manual update again or repair thru add/remove programs while online. hopefully this will re-install correctly.

Operating system restart needed by avast message could be solved, in some systems, by deleting the file <avast>\setup\reboot.txt
