Having lots of problems with the latest Premier program 10.3.2225 and think I need to revert back to previous version. Not sure where to find the download and the uninstall utility. I've tried a Repair thru control panel and that made everything worse - frozen computer!
Thanks!

Also thinking about just doing a clean install of x.2225 ...
Let's try that first...
1. Download Avast Premier Antivirus: https://files.avast.com/iavs9x/avast_premier_antivirus_setup.exe
2. Follow instructions: https://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility (Run this tool for all prior installed Avast versions..!!)
3. Reinstall Avast with the downloaded installer from point 1.
4. Reboot.

wow that was fast! :) Thanks for your help! I'll do this shortly. Hope a clean install will do the trick.

OK, report back...
-
completed - but the problems persist
firefox slow to launch, avast systray icon spins quite a lot (more so than in older version), even spins after typing - don't think avast should be in learning mode, or maybe it is?
one thing that completed this time installing is the firefox add on was updated
any ideas?
thanks so much!

Disable HTTPS-Scanning in the Web-Shield and reboot afterwards.
Did it help..?

don't think it helped .. still spinning icon just after typing and high CPU (up to 80) firefox seems to be the busiest when looking at task manager

Probably a bug, you can now:
1. Wait for one of the devs and/or submit a ticket: https://support.avast.com/Tickets/Submit
2. Revert back to build 2218.
Let me know.

1. is submitting a ticket the same as sending the report from the Support Tool? if not, should I do both?
2. I'll wait a few days to see if a solution is found and if not then revert back to 2218

I submitted the report from the Support Tool with all options checked
need to get on with the other things scheduled for this morning.
Thanks again!
