Title: Purge old computers

I have recently scrubbed my old DNS records and would like my SOA Network display to reflect the change.  Is there anyway to update the computers? 

(For instance, let's say I used to have a computer named "student" but have removed it from my environment and deleted the DNS record.  How do I get that computer purged from SOA without manually deleting it?  I have quite a few.)
