Title: Stopping and Starting On-Access protection
Post by: Fyrestryke on November 20, 2005, 01:16:16 AM
Is it possible to stop/start On-Access Protection using scheduled tasks in AVAST, Windows 2003 Server, or the command line?

You could do something like

net start "avast! antivirus"
net stop "avast! antivirus"

This will start/stop the on-access scanner but also the auto-updater and a couple of other avast components...

Thanks
